AFTER YOUR VISA HAS BEEN SUBMITTED, YOU CAN CHECK THE STATUS OF OUR VISA:
(Please note that the Consulate does not give information on visa status)

• Please go to the application form site;

• Click on the CHECK VISA link (on the bottom-left side of page);

• on the next window, fill out:

• protocol number: 091003-000219 (this is the right format)
• birth date: 02/06/1962 - please be sure it is in the right format (day/month/year)
• Please do not forget to FILL THE TEXTBOX WITH THE CODE SHOWN IN LEFT BOX.
  Unfortunately, sometimes the code is not clear. You just click underneath it and a new one will show up.

• If, after you click SUBMIT, it is written (in small letters after the code box):"SEARCH RESULT: THERE IS NO APPLICATION PENDING", it means your visa is ready(no longer pending). We understand it is not clear and we apologize for that.

• Due to the amount of visas received daily (aproximately 200), you will probably see no change on the status until 2 or 3 days prior to your pick-up date. To find out how much time is needed to get your visa, click here.

• If your visa was submitted by a Travel Agent, the Consulate recognizes the Agent as your representative. Any issues should be solved between the Agent and the Consulate. Individual faxes and emails from applicants are not acceptable. All inquiries should be done by the Agents to the Consulate.
