Applicants under 18 years of age not traveling with both parents or legal guardian(s) must provide a notarized letter of consent signed by parents or legal guardian(s). For guardian(s), a notarized copy of guardianship is required. |

Applicants under 18 years of age traveling with one parent must provide a notarized letter of consent signed by the non-accompanied parent. In the event that a signed notarized letter of consent cannot be obtained from the non-accompanied parent due to inability of contact or for any other reason, a letter of consent signed by a judge is required, authorizing the applicant to travel to Brazil with his/her accompanied parent. |

Notarized letters of consent must be legalized at this Consulate. The legalization fee is US$20.00 per document. |
