(MANIOC MEAL)


2 cups manioc meal
    (available at Brazilian markets)

1/2 stick (1/4 cup) unsalted butter, cut into bits

Farofa

In a large skillet melt the butter over moderate heat, add the manioc meal and cook, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes, breaking up any lumps. Transfer the mixture to a bowl.
